Speaker: Pastor Chris Plekenpol,

Topic: “James: Just do it

About the Topic: How are Christians to live? The ancient wisdom of the Lord’s Brother, James is as relevant today as it was in the first century. The Christians to whom James wrote had issues. They were talking about faith in abstract ways and their lives saw little change. They were still selfish, proud, and had to overcome fights and quarrels within the church. The letter of James takes a very direct approach challenging Christians to simply live out the Christian faith.

About the Speaker: Chris is married to his beautiful wife Adrienne, a graduate of Abilene Christian University, the Children’s Ministry Director at Wells Branch Community Church, and his best friend. They have four incredible boys: Austin, Jett, Titus and Paxton.
