Who is Officers’ Christian Fellowship?
OCF seeks to help Christians in the military society and their families grow together in their relationship with God and others, and to unite them in biblical fellowship and outreach, and encourage each other through prayer.
OCF fills this need for biblical fellowship and prayer in five key ways: Prayer, Small Group Local Fellowship and Outreach, Leadership, Conference Center Ministry, and Publications.
OCF’s Vision is the military community positively impacted through Christ-like leaders. Our Mission is to engage military leaders in Biblical fellowship and growth to equip them for Christ-like service at the intersection of faith, family, and profession.
How OCF and WSS work together
As one of OCF’s two conference centers, White Sulphur Springs primarily provides Bible-based programs to minister to the military community. We mostly seek to accomplish this through our summer programs, Summer R&R, Allegheny Outback!, and Camp Caleb. During our spring and fall seasons, we also host OCF-affiliated retreats to further connect people to the OCF vision to see the military community positively impacted through Christ-like leaders. Check out the upcoming OCF events at White Sulphur Springs, and sign up today!
White Sulphur Springs Conference Center is hosting the annual Leading Women Retreat for uniformed women, whether past, present, or future. The weekend will feature speaker sessions, great meals provided by WSS’ kitchen, and free time activities like horseback rides and time around the campfire in the scenic Allegheny Mountains.
OCF resources to fuel your faith
We call Christian officers to integrate biblical standards of excellence into their professional responsibilities. OCF recognizes and affirms the unique responsibilities, expertise, and ethical values of the officer corps. Our podcasts and publications are directed toward informing a mature and engaged faith in Christ.
We are also committed to encouraging, supporting, and assisting military families as they implement the biblical principles of marriage and parenthood. Military life places unique demands on families even in its routine duties. Field training, TDY, deployments, frequent moves, and the dangers inherent in training and operations amplify this stress. Thus OCF provides resources to help grow husbands and wives in their marital relationships, help them as parents to build vibrant, healthy Christian families that glorify God, contribute to increased military readiness, and provide a powerful witness within the military.
Are you looking for resources to help you lead your Bible study? Grow your personal worship time? Inform your worldview as a Christian? Hear from a fellow soldier or a spouse serving in the trenches while their military member is deployed? Let OCF help you with our growing list of resources.
